CREATION OF THE PATTERN
The first step is to make a sewing pattern. It is from this that the model of your card holder will be born. Once printed, all you have to do is cut out the model using a cutter.
LEATHER CUTTING
Position your pattern on the skin and trace its silhouette. Then all you have to do is cut the leather using a cutter, following the lines neatly. The more precise and delicate the gesture, the cleaner the cut will be.
SLAUGHTING, BURNISHING AND DYEING LEATHER
We round the edges of the card holder and make them smooth, to facilitate the insertion of cards into the dedicated slots. Next comes the burnishing stage which will seal the leather fibers at the edges, and therefore give them a more aesthetic appearance.
GLUING AND SEWING
Now that all the parts of the card holder are ready, all that remains is to assemble them. First of all, it is essential to trace the sewing lines on all the components before gluing the pieces together.
